We received a contract to prepare the market entry of a high-tech company from Eastern Europe in Switzerland. It comprises the selection of a suitable business location including office and production site, establishment of the company and corresponding steps, as well as searching for potential business and research partners. The transfer of parts of the research centre to Switzerland is planned as a second step.

For CzechInvest, the Czech national promotion agency we organized and conducted a seminar on the Czech Republic as business partner which took place in Zurich. Over 35 participants were excited about the seminar which included presentations from companies such as ABB and Ammann.

We executed concrete steps within the second phase of the market entry of a Czech high-tech company from life sciences. These steps included the preparation of company establishment, choice of a suitable trustee, choice of office space and apartments for the management of the company, as well as arrangement for a work permit and residence permit as well as searching for business partners.

We organized a block week on the topic of „Internationalization“ for a MBA-Programme from Switzerland. The seminar took place in Prague and presentations were given by reputable investors in Central Europe such as the Bueeler Group and ZF Engineering but also by government organizations such as CzechInvest and Swiss OSEC.

We closed the first phase of a project of market entry to Switzerland for a Czech company from life science. It comprised the pre-selection of possible locations and a site visit of chosen locations together with the investor incl. discussions with representatives of regional investment promotion agencies as well as with network partners.

We received a contract to conduct a market study and to develop concrete market entry strategies concerning Switzerland, France and Italy for a market leader from Eastern Europe in the field of construction tools. This included an overview and an assessment of competitors and their strategies, distributors as well as the development of B2B and B2C market.

We set up a project to lead an academic research project at the University of Economics in Prague within the framework of an EU-Programme. The research project inquires into the innovation behaviour of employees in companies of Swiss, German and Italian investors. The very interesting results of the research will be available in English at the website of our partner institute, tim.vse.cz, under the section Research.
