Martina L. Jakl

Martina is a founding partner of SwissCzech Technology Transfer. Furthermore she is the head of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (TIM VSE) at the University of Economics  in Prague. Her goal as Swiss-Czech citizen has always been building connections between Western and Eastern Europe. After the graduation at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland with major in small and medium enterprises and Entrepreneurship, she continued her studies as PhD. student at the University of Economics in Prague with a focus on academic spin-offs and technology transfer. Within the scope of various projects, Martina specialized on challenges for companies and institutions in terms of strengthening their competitiveness, mainly during the internationalization process. She transfers her experiences gained in SwissCzech Technology Transfer further as a lecturer of various lectures specialized on Entrepreneurship, Company’s strategy and Internationalization at different universities.

 
Jiří Hnilica
Partner

Jiri graduated at the University of Economics in Prague, where he currently works as deputy of chair in the department of Business Economics. His professional interest is focused on business finance, private equity and venture capital, mainly on the problematic of risk analysis, finance modeling and valuation of economic efficiency of investment projects. He acts as the project lead or project assistant of many domestic and foreign research projects. At the University of Economics is he a guarantee and lecturer of "Risk Analysis and Financial Modeling", "Principles of Managerial Finance" and "Entrepreneurial Finance". Externally he participates in the lectures of "Entrepreneurial Finance" with Italian Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi (www.jirihnilica.cz).
